Senior Laravel Developer
Lead the backend on client platforms in fintech, logistics and healthcare. You will own architecture decisions on your projects and mentor two or three engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and build Laravel applications that will be maintained for years, not months
- Own the data model and integration architecture on your projects
- Review pull requests with the care you would want applied to your own
- Work directly with clients in sprint reviews and technical discussions
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and pairing
What we're looking for
- Five or more years building production PHP applications, at least three with Laravel
- Strong relational database design and query optimisation skills
- Practical testing discipline with PHPUnit or Pest
- Experience with queues, caching and background processing at scale
- Clear written English — you will write specifications and talk to clients directly
